Ruma’s Coffee
Rumas Coffee which takes the name of its owner is another place that you don’t want to miss if you are looking for good specialty coffee in Barcelona. With two shops, this one located in Gracia/Diagonal and the other one in the Gothic zone, the coffee shops provide a great experience regarding good specialty coffee.
.
Owned by a young yet very experienced Russian woman @ruma_motrenko , that I happen to get to know even better in the last months, and that is a real entrepreneur (being even figured in FORBES RUSSIA for its story), the store carries the experience acquired in Russia of developing a brand of coffee shops and also making artisan chocolate.
.
The cafeterias have everything a fan of specialty coffee wants: two options for espresso: one fixed roaster (at the moment I write this review the only place serving @thebarnberlin in Barcelona), and one invited – other options of filtered coffee – excellent baristas (Ruma included), and a great offer of food, especially the sweet treats.
.
The service is fast if you are in a hurry, or slow if you wanna know more about the product (everybody knows about what they are doing). The extractions of espresso and filters have never disappointed me in there. And recently added roaster The Barn has been a very good asset for Ruma’s.
.
Recently RUMA developed the RUMAS LAB, which consists of a series of great coffee formations, that includes practical work in her own coffee shop for recently formed students! Amazing idea
