Balafría Coffee Bar
Service and experience, in my opinion the top criteria in a coffee shop. @balafriacafe has it! Located in Gràcia / Sarrià this spacious specialty coffeeshop in a backlit corner is the perfect place to drink your shot and hang out a moment, or even have a great meal that varies weekly.

Run by such a kind couple, Miriam and Sergio, they work mainly with NOMAD COFFEE Roaster’s @nomadcoffee and sometimes invited roasters from Barcelona. The offer of coffee is wide so you can have espressos, filters and all their variations. I have never had a bad extracted coffee, either by Miriam or Sergio.

Before this post´s day, I still hadn’t eaten their food, and was looking forward to that so I could put a better review. I ordered a roasted chicken with vegetables and on top an amazing mint sauce. For coffee, I had a double espresso and a filter before food (Colombia and Brazil, in that order).

Also spent some time on my laptop catching up on some emails, with a great playlist and amazing care by them! Thanks so much, especially for Gloria from @musttrybcn that recommended the spot so many times!
