Combine great elaboration food, a short menu with seasonal and special plates off of it, excellent prices (you won’t believe seeing the pics that plates cost exactly the same as in a day by day restaurant), and specialty coffee of course and you will find ARIGATO RESTAURANT in Eixample.

After spending many years in high pattern cooking market, Sebastián Mazzola (Argentinian) and the sommelier Sussie Villarico (dutch and Japanese origin) have decided to open up their own business that is a junction of an ice cream shop, cafeteria, and restaurant

The place is spacious and cozy located in Eixample, and you will probably be received by one of them or a very sympathetic member of their team. They have a bar with the ice creams and coffee machine to the left as you enter and in the back, you get to see the open kitchen where they prepare the dishes

We ordered dumplings soup, then their amazing truffle udon, and their pancake of low fermentation. We were also thrilled by the great natural white wine they had, very fruity!

For dessert one of their “off the menu” options is an ice cream made with kombucha base, coconut, pineapple, and hazelnut caramel. Incredible!

And @nomadcoffee of course to finish. We will definitely be back, many times and recommend for people coming to Barcelona, it cannot be lost!
