They have perfectly captured an original way of eating healthy. The quality of the food is obvious and it shows in the taste. They adapt to all types of food and the best thing is that you have the possibility of creating a dish to your liking. What Honest Greens has achieved is that many people have discovered that eating healthy is not boring or bland. Finally, highlight its infinity of sweet but “healthy” options, with real ingredients.
As they define themselves, they are an oasis within Barcelona. The space transmits tranquility and the food is exquisite. They offer many options (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free…) and the treatment is very close. They try to innovate in every way, they are very attentive to the experience of each client and it shows. The lunch menu options are always good, but I also recommend their breakfast burrito.
A rural place within the city, familiar, quiet, and welcoming. Its menu stands out for using local products, creating healthy and modern dishes while maintaining a homemade style. It seems to me as an innovative proposal for a lunch menu that is not common in Barcelona, it is like escaping for 1 hour to a country house or a farmhouse and disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of the city. I have yet to come back to try their much-talked-about pistachio cake!
For me, one of the pioneer places in Barcelona is innovating with healthy food and making it “fun”. The treatment is less personal, but on the other hand, it has more peculiar dishes, and a different atmosphere and they take great care of the presentation. Perhaps it is less cheap, so I do not consider it a place to go very often, but for special occasions and to enjoy less common dishes. What I would highlight are their sweet options because they use very good ingredients and are a more natural or “real” version, unlike other options that are more sugary or processed and less nutritious.
Good option both to stay for a drink and for “to-go”. The girls are lovely and the site is pet-friendly. It is one of my favorite options to go in summer or when the weather is good since the place is small and there is very little space inside. They have many options to eat both savory and sweet. Their dishes are super colorful, nutritious, and use local products.
